Even Gods Are Blind

Book Launch Garden Party for Even Gods Are Blind

Last night, my garden bar transformed into a haven for book lovers as we celebrated the launch of my novel, Even Gods Are Blind! Twenty of my friends and acquaintances gathered for an evening filled with laughter, delicious food, and, of course, a taste of the book itself.

I took a moment to thank everyone for coming and share a few words about the inspiration for writing Even Gods Are Blind.  Sharing the history behind the story and the long road to publication was a special moment, and the warm support from everyone there was truly heartwarming. I gave a special mention to a high school teacher of mine, Dr Romberg; she was my classics and Latin teacher, and it was in her class that I fell in love with the history and mythology of the ancient world. Unfortunately, I learned she passed away last year before I was able to share my story with her.

A Sneak Peek into the World of Even Gods Are Blind

Following the speech, I had the absolute pleasure (terror and trembling and nausea) of reading the very first chapter aloud. The silence in the bar as everyone leaned in to hear was lovely. Those with copies said they would start reading immediately to find out what happens next…

Food, Fun, and Celebrating Stories

There was the usual pizza and appetizers, I do tend to go overboard when hosting a party. Aperol spritzes, Hugo cocktails, and Moscow mules were free-flowing along with the wine.

A genius idea of mine was to have an archery competition to win a copy of my book. Mixing sharp weapons after a few cocktails was surprisingly fun and no one ended up in the hospital.

A Night Filled with Gratitude

As the night drew to a close, I couldn’t help but feel incredibly grateful. Surrounded by such an amazing group of people, celebrating the launch of my first book was a truly unforgettable experience. I sold all the copies I had and signed them all too, that was fun.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made this night so special! Your presence means the world to me. And a huge thank you to everyone who has supported Even Gods Are Blind thus far. Your love for stories keeps me going, and I can’t wait to share more of them with you in the future.

P.S. Still haven’t gotten your copy of Even Gods Are Blind? You can find it on Amazon and Google
